Battlers Increase Win Streak to 6 WIth WIn Over Salem

Once again the A-B men took care of business on the road yet again as they traveled to nearby Salem International. It was the Battlers fourth consecutive victory on the road as they are currently on a six game win streak.
In the first half of action A-B got the lead very early and didn't let go. It was the third game out of the last four that A-B never trailed. Sophomore Jamar Board got off to a hot start as he scored eight early points to help establish A-B's lead. This was coming off a 32 point performance at Cheyney. He once again lead the scoring in this one with 20 points.
Terell Eargle was a major factor in the game as he also got started in the first half. He stirred up the crowd in the Salem National Guard Armory with two fast break dunks within a five minute gamespan. Eargle would end up with a mind boggling statline of 16 points, 19 rebounds, five steals, two assists, and two blocks.
At half the the lead was in A-B's favor 34-16. In the second half Salem came back firing and scored 41 points to the Battlers' 49 to make the final score 83-57. The Tigers were lead in scoring and rebounding by Kendall Allison as he also had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Also in double digits for the Battlers was Freshman Roy Brown and Junior Jordan Morrison with 12. Combined they both went 7-9 from deep for the game.
The Battlers will return to Rex Pyles Arena Jan. 11 to take on Ohio Valley and will try to keep the winning streak alive.
