Battler Basketball 6th in 1st NCAA Atlantic Region Poll

NDIANAPOLIS)---The first NCAA Division II Atlantic Region men's basketball rankings of the season have a strong WVIAC flavor with four league representatives among the ten ranked schools.  West Liberty is second, West Virginia State is third, Alderson-Broaddus holds down sixth, and Fairmont State rounds out the rankings in tenth.

Regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through March 3.  Selections to the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship will be made Sunday, March 7.

The Atlantic Region consists of schools from the WVIAC, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, and a pair of independent institutions.  The 46-school region is the largest in Division II.

The top ten teams in the Atlantic Region, as selected by the Division II Women's Basketball Committee, are listed below:
