Men's Basketball Player of the Week (12/21-1/3):
---Terrell Eargle, Alderson-Broaddus, 6-4, Sr., G, Youngstown, OH: Eargle paced the Battlers in an important 81-72 regional victory at Edinboro (PA) with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists...He also filled up the stat sheet with five steals and three blocked shots to help the Battlers improve to 3-2 on the season.

Other top efforts: Shepherd's Tyrone Roach (35 points in loss to Slippery Rock), Glenville State's Aaron Dobson (25 points in overtime win at WV Wesleyan), Seton Hill's Chris Giles (20.3 ppg in three games), West Liberty's John Wolosinczuk (20.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg in two wins), West Virginia Wesleyan's Justin Caldwell (18.0 ppg in three losses), and Wheeling Jesuit's Steve Catich (15.0 ppg in two wins).
