Ohio Valley scored three free throws to start out the game in recent action against Alderson-Broaddus. That was the last time they were in this one. A-B's defense limited OVU to just 4-22 shooting in the first half as they put up an abysmal 17 first half points to A-B's 47.
Sophomore Jamar Board went 4-7 from deep and 3-3 from the free throw line for 15 first half points.
In the second half A-B pushed the lead out to as many as 37 at the 14:51 mark as the game was well out of reach for the Fightin' Scots.
The final score ended up heavily in A-B's favor 92-54. Board lead all scorers with 27 points. Senior Terell Eargle had yet another all around game as he scored ten points, nabbed nine rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
With the victory the Battlers improve to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in conference. They will host Shepherd University Jan. 14 and then will travel to University of Pitt-Johnstown on the 16. Both games will be broadcasted on 91.3FM WQAB and will also be available online at www.ab.edu/gameday.
