Glenville, WV -- The key to beating the fast paced Glenville State Women's Basketball team is taking care of the basketball and minimize their number of possesions and shot attempts.  These are two things the Alderson-Broaddus Lady Battlers did an excellent job of in their victory over the Lady Pioneers in their first meeting back on January 28th, an 86-82 victory in Philippi.

The second time around was much different as GSC harassed the A-B women in 38 turnovers, while firing up an unbelievable 104 shots.  The Pioneers overcame very cold shooting to hold on to 4th place in the WVIAC with a 86-68 victory at last night.

With the loss the Lady Battlers drop to 7-18 Overall and 5-15 in WVIAC play.

A-B was led by Lauren Reed's 16 points and a double-double from Tori Charley of 14 points and 12 rebounds.  Coach Allen's squad would hit on 23 of 61 field goals (37.7%) and 7 of 19 behind the arc.

The host Pioneers held a 62-59 advantage on the boards, including 41 offensive rebounds.

Alderson-Broaddus returns to action this Thursday as they play host to Wheeling Jesuit.  Last home game of the regular season is always fan appreciation night, where all fans will get in free.  Tip off is at 5:15.
