Philippi, WV -- Coach Allen's Lady Battler squad once again fell victim to a big run by their opposition, this time a 22-3 spurt in the middle of the 1st half saw the WV Wesleyan Lady Bobcats seize control and cruise to a 62-42 win. 

With the game tied at 9-9 at the 15:01 mark, Alderson - Broaddus would go cold, connecting on just 1 of their next 12 shots as WVWC would push the lead to 31-12 with 6:04 remaining in the half.  After two Kaitlyn Brown jumpers and an Amanda Peoples' three pointer, the deficit would be cut to 16 at 35-19 with 4:08 left.  However, A-B would get no closer as they went into locker room at the half down 41-21.

The 2nd half was much of the same, as the Lady Bobcat lead grew to as many 28 before settling on the final.

A-B was lea by Brown's 17 points, as she was the only Battler to reach double figures.  The loss drops them to 7-17 overall and 5-14 in WVIAC play. 

Alderson-Broaddus returns to action this Monday as they travel to Glenville, WV to take on 3rd place Glenville State College.  Tip off is at 5:30pm.
