(Shepherdstown, WV) --- The A-B College Men's Soccer Team fell to WVIAC Foe Shepherd over the weekend by a score of 3-1. With the loss, the reigning WVIAC Champs fall to 1-4 Overall and 0-2 in WVIAC play.

Michael McDermott started the scoring off just 3 minutes into the game as he would finish home a Paul Ogedegbe cross.

The Battler lead was brief as just five minutes later Shepherd knotted the game at one as Robel Desta scored off the pass from Jeffers Frasier.

The Rams grabbed the lead for good as this time David Medina would be the beneficiary of a solid Frasier service, to make it 2-1 Shepherd.

The 2-1 deficit stayed that way until the 76th minute when Desta found the back of the net once again to put the nail in the coffin.

Shepherd held a slim 9-7 shot advantage, while A-B had 6 corner kicks to the Rams' 3.

The Battlers will return to action this Saturday has they play host to WVU-Tech. Kick Off is at 3pm.
