The Battler and Lady Battler Cross Country teams hit the trail this past Saturday at a four team meet hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

The Lady Battlers finished 2nd with 59 points, trailing Slippery Rock University, which won the invitational with 21 points Ashley Teets again led the way for A-B as she placed 4th, finishing the 6k course in 24 minutes and 10 seconds. Sherry Borsos placed 9th with a time of 24:55.

The A-B men finished 3rd overall with 79 points trailing Slippery Rock (21) and IUP (40). The Battlers were paced by Mack Triplett's (28:30) 15th place finish and a 17th place finish from Ryan Skotnicki (28:38).

The Alderson-Broaddus Cross Country Teams return to action next Saturday as they travel to Rio Grande, Ohio to run in the Rio Grande Invitational.
